Satoshi Nakamoto

Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym for a person or a group that is standing behind the creation of Bitcoin, the first decentralized cryptocurrency. The only thing we know for sure is that Satoshi Nakamoto is the only author that can be found in Bitcoin's whitepaper. The whitepaper was titled "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" and for the first time was published at metzdown.com in 2008. Later, Nakamoto created the website bitcoin.org where the whitepaper was published and can be currently found.

Roger Ver

Roger was born in 1979 in America. He left De Anza College after a year to run his first computer business. He established a company named MemoryDealers.com and employed 30 people. This company deals with selling computer parts. He became the CEO in 1999 and under his control, the company did very well.

Jihan Wu

Jihan Wu studied at the Peking University in 2005 to 2009. After finishing school, he worked as a financial analyst and a private equity fund manager. During that period, Jihan Wu met with Micree Zhan who was trying to run a startup and was just raising money for it. They became friends and discovered Bitcoin possibilities. They translated Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin whitepaper to Chinese and collaborated on developing of the ASIC chip, which is more capable of mining Bitcoin than the CPU.

Charlie Lee

Charlie Lee was born on the Ivory Coast. He migrated to the United States at the age of thirteen. He graduated MIT in 2000 and then worked in different small companies. In 2007 he joined Google as a software engineer.
